Focus Frame app Privacy Policy
The Focus Frame app does not collect your personal information. There is no account to create, nothing to sign up for, and nothing about your use of the app is sent to us or to anyone else.
That is the whole policy in one sentence. The rest of this page explains what that means in practice, because a short privacy policy is easy to write and worth being specific about.
What stays on your phone
The app remembers a few things so it works the way you expect the next time you open it. All of it is stored on your device only:

Your streak, the number of minutes you have taken, and how many you have skipped

Which card decks and glitter colors you own or have unlocked

Your settings: minute length, shake sensitivity, sound, haptics

Which card you saw last, so you get a different one next time
None of this leaves your phone. We cannot see it, and we could not retrieve it if you asked us to. Deleting the app removes all of it, and there is a reset option in Settings that clears it without uninstalling.
What we do not do

No accounts. We never ask for your name, email, or phone number.

No tracking. No advertising identifiers, no third-party trackers, no profiles, and nothing sold or shared with data brokers.

No location. If a future version offers a location-based reminder, it will be off unless you turn it on, the location will be checked on your phone, and it will still never be sent anywhere.

No health records. The app is not connected to Apple Health, Google Fit, or any medical record system.

No reading of your other apps. If you use the feature that puts a Focus Frame minute in front of chosen apps, the choosing happens on your phone through the operating system's own screen time tools. We are not told which apps you picked or when you open them.
Purchases
If you buy a card deck, a glitter pack, or a subscription, the purchase is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. They process the payment and they hold the payment details. We never see your card number, your billing address, or your name. Your phone simply records that the item is unlocked.
Redeeming a code from a physical Focus Frame box works the same way. The code unlocks content on your device and tells us nothing about you.
Children
Focus Frame includes a deck written for children and is meant to be usable by families. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either. There is no sign-up, no messaging, no user content, no advertising, and no way for a child to share anything with us or with another person through the app.
Crash and diagnostic reports
Apple and Google offer their own crash reporting, and whether it is on is controlled by you in your device settings, not by us. If you have it enabled, those reports go to Apple or Google and may be shared with us in aggregate, with no information identifying you. We do not add any analytics of our own.
If that ever changes, this page will change with it, before the version that changes it is released.
Your rights
Privacy laws including the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act give you rights to see, correct, export, and delete the personal information a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to show, correct, export, or delete. The information on your phone is yours and is under your control at all times.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes, and any change that affects what leaves your phone will be described in the app before it takes effect.
